Why Tint Your Home

What Changes the Day We Install

Every South Florida homeowner deals with the same issues β€” blazing afternoon sun, high FPL bills, fading furniture. Residential window film solves all of it without a renovation.

🌑️

Dramatically Cooler Rooms

West and south-facing rooms can be 10-15Β°F cooler after window film installation. No more abandoning your living room at 3pm because it's unbearable β€” your whole home stays comfortable all day.

⚑

Lower FPL Bills Every Month

Your A/C works non-stop because heat pours through unprotected glass. Window film blocks up to 79% of solar heat gain, reducing cooling costs 15-25%. In South Florida, that adds up fast.

β˜€οΈ

Furniture & Flooring Protection

UV rays are the #1 cause of fading hardwood floors, bleached fabric, and cracked leather furniture. Our films block 99% of UV rays β€” your investment stays looking new for years longer.

πŸ”’

Privacy Without Losing Your View

One-way mirror films give you full daytime privacy from the street while you keep a clear view outside. Perfect for ground-floor living rooms, bedrooms facing neighbors, or street-facing windows.

πŸ‘οΈ

Glare Gone β€” Screens Visible

Watching TV or working from home with the sun blazing through the windows is a daily frustration. Window film reduces glare up to 94% so you can actually see your screens without closing the blinds all day.

🧴

Skin Protection at Home

UV exposure through home windows is real β€” especially in Florida. Our residential films block 99% of UV rays, protecting your family's skin even while sitting in your own living room.

FAQ

Homeowner Questions β€” Answered

The most common questions we get from South Florida homeowners before scheduling.

Will residential window tinting make my home too dark?

Not at all. We offer films from virtually clear (70% VLT) to very dark. Most homeowners choose 35-50% films that dramatically reduce heat and glare while keeping rooms bright with natural light. We bring physical samples to every estimate so you can see exactly how each option looks on your windows before we install anything.

How much will I save on my FPL bill?

In South Florida's climate, residential window film typically reduces cooling costs by 15-25%. Homes with large west or south-facing windows see the greatest savings since those windows absorb the most afternoon heat. Most homeowners recoup the full installation cost within 3-5 years through energy savings β€” and enjoy the comfort benefits immediately.

Can you tint my double-pane windows?

Yes, in most cases. We assess your specific glass type during the free estimate. Some older dual-pane units require specific low-reflection films to avoid thermal stress issues. We'll confirm suitability before any commitment. We do not apply film to plastic or plexiglass windows.

How long does the installation take?

Most residential homes are completed in a single day. Larger properties or homes with many windows may take 2 days. We require daylight hours for residential installation. After install, the film fully cures over 30 days β€” any minor haziness or small bubbles during this period are completely normal and resolve on their own.

Will I still be able to see outside clearly?

Yes. Properly selected residential window film has virtually no impact on your outward view. You'll notice less glare and more consistent, comfortable brightness β€” but your view of the outside remains clear. The one-way mirror effect (if you choose a reflective film) only works during daytime when it's brighter outside than inside.
