π‘ Our recommendation for South Florida: Ceramic or Nano Ceramic. The heat rejection difference over carbon is significant when you're dealing with 95Β°F+ daily and months of direct Florida sun.
Window tint isn't just about looks. In South Florida it's about making your car actually comfortable to get into and drive.
A tinted car parked in Florida sun can be 60 degrees cooler inside than an untinted one. No more burning your hands on the steering wheel or sitting on scorching seats.
UV rays crack dashboards, bleach upholstery, and fade leather in Florida's sun. Window film blocks 99% of UV β keeping your interior looking new years longer and protecting your resale value.
Dermatologists rank driving as a major source of UV skin damage β especially the left arm and face. Window tint blocks 99% of UV rays, protecting you on every commute.
When your car isn't a greenhouse, your A/C doesn't have to work as hard to cool it down. Less A/C strain means better fuel economy and less wear on your compressor.
Tinted windows make it harder for smash-and-grab thieves to see valuables inside your car. Privacy film also makes occupants less visible β a safety benefit many drivers don't consider.

Front side windows must allow more than 28% of light in (28% VLT or higher). Rear side windows and back windshield can be any darkness. The front windshield can only have a non-reflective tint strip along the top above the AS-1 line. We always install within Florida legal limits.
Carbon tint uses carbon particles to block heat β it has a dark matte finish and performs well. Ceramic tint uses ceramic nano particles that block significantly more infrared heat, look nearly clear or neutral, and do not interfere with phone signals, GPS, or toll transponders. In South Florida's extreme heat, we strongly recommend ceramic for the best comfort results.

Yes β we can apply a light ceramic film to the front windshield that blocks heat and UV while remaining nearly invisible. Florida law only allows a non-reflective strip above the AS-1 line for visibility-altering tint, but a clear or very light ceramic film across the full windshield is legal and very effective at heat rejection.
